Liberalism and Libertarianism

The word in opposite to libertarianism is totalitarianism - fascism, nazism, militalism, corporatism combined, so basically libertarianism connotes favourable atmosphere. They -libertarians want to prevent state intervention to the private affairs of the individuals as much as possible.
The word in opposite to liberalism is conservatism - communism, capitalism, whatever the form of government might be, liberalism is opposed to the idea of those who form the government. So consequently, liberalism under the communist regime might be capitalism, but at the same time under the capitalist regime, it might be slightly tinged in a social democratic idea.
