Touring Two Hours
2005.04.22 4:03

The day before yesterday. -It was one of the busiest day I ever had. Unlike other days I had to start working at 9:15 - because my superviser asked me to do so, he's got a good idea by using me for a special event. It was my day-off. I had no reason to say no. Instead, Today came to be a day-off, any way...So to start working this hour in the morning, I had to go to bed before midnight instead of staying up late at night, usually till 4 or 5 o'clock.
I finished working at one place at 4 p.m. then moved to another place which starts at 6 p.m. by bicycle and train. Till that time it was not a trouble. I finished working at 2:00 a.m.,then I tried to take a nap in the office, but unable to because normally I have a habit to stay up late, so anyway I couldn't sleep well till 6:00 o'clock. Soon after I was about to fall in sleep, aftershock of the latest earthquake occurred. Unlike my house which is located near mountain , thus less shakeable, the office is located near the coast, epicentre of the earthquake at this time is located 15 km distant from coastline, the nearer the coast, the stronger. Then yesterday, I had to move by train and bicycle. To make the matter worse, owing to the aftershock, all train and subway are stopped, but only bus was available. When I saw all people resort to bus or cars, many people were standing at the bus stop, I borrowed company's bicycle and started heading for my next destination -about 17 km distant from that place.
In the end, I spent about 2 hours by bicycle to get to the next place. It was 11:00 a.m. I have to start next work at 12:15. No time to take a nap. After all I didn't sleep at all from 9:00 a.m. 19th to 11:00 p.m. 20th. -38 hours awake. I kept on sleeping to midnight 21th, today - 13 hours asleep.
I am working thre different offices, two of which are part-time. I didn't tell that to my full-time workplace. That's what's all about.
