#Hi
50 posts -Oh, boy...I can only make 10 posts a day at best. Isn't there any limit writing your journal entry? As a freak of you, a little bit sorrow not hearing from you. (smiley mark here)
#Related ?
I'm not sure whether it directly relates to your story though. Back when I was a primary school student, the story of Little Black Sambo was often told in our class. Sometime after maybe when I was still a high school student(1976- ), abruptly I heard the news which says it was banned to tell the story of Little Black Sambo because it connotes racial discrimination. Because of our characteristic, (right when some authority says right, left when some authority says left ) this famous story was wiped off all the textbooks over one night. According to your passage, the restaurant had a lawsuit against its employment policy, not its name, but implied some interesting relations between two completely isolated incidents.
#On US Rule
Countries that have had US occupations seem to have a good end result.
I cannot help but admit that reluctantly though, the reasons for their success in their occupied land is that they respect our religion, custom, etc. in the first place, because they didn't impose their utmost values on us instead of our owns, we have been able to embrace American values by degrees. That is the way Romans and Persians took in the past, of course I like that.
And maybe, just maybe, we'll get lucky and the new Kurd-Shi'ite coalition will replace our soldiers with their own people.
I hope not only Kurdish, Shiites but also Sunnis altogether can make a coalition government since each group represents their own people or religion. Sunnis are not necessarily singled out of only because they used to be the ruling people.
