A Riddle of Search Engine
2005.05.10 3:39

Simply different results can be found if I used Yahoo/Google or MSN. Yahoo and Google show similar results while MSN very different. Results change as time passes, that's understandable since the volume of many sites are changing, but what makes top 100 and what makes out of top 100 in each search engine still very much remains to be riddle.
I just wonder what would be a criteria for each result. Anyone knows?

Like most Americans of a younger age, I've taken a great liking for things Japanese. Japanese food in particular I find appealing. Have you ever eaten natto? It's my favorite.
Also, how angry is Junichiro Koizumi about China's appalling behavior? And what's the general feeling towards Taiwan?

I was not the exception before I spent 9 months in America, 1987, like other ordinary Japanese, I used to have a discrimination against Chinese, Korean, and Taiwanese. The feeling toward Chinese and Koreans were much stronger than that of Taiwanese, basically Taiwan was annexed in 1894 as a result of Shino-Japanese War, and traditionary Taiwanese themselves were divided by native Taiwanese and Chinese occupiers, so it stands to some reason native Taiwanese accepted Japanese instead of Chinese occupiers. And we don't believe Japanese people did some bad things on Taiwan soil as they did in Nanjing or other areas of China continent.
Above is the general Japanese attitude towards Taiwanese.
Our prime minister is a sage person. He doesn't react as a hot water hot. He always try to underatand what's the real intention behind the words or behaviour actually Chinese or Korean governments and their people did. He is not angry about anything on what China did in recent months.
Japanese people changed a lot. It has been trendy to spent 2 or 3 months in American language school among younger generations. Those who spent several months in America tend to have much more liberal idea than the rest of them who only keep on staying in Japan. The more who are exposed by American air, the more people be liberal. I cannot believe young people hold special feeling towards other Asian people as older people did.
Once I visited American University in DC many years ago, in a cafeteria I spoke to one Chinese and two Koreans and me made a completely international atmosphere. We realise once we get out of our homeland, we are the same people, I grealy enjoyed talking to Chinese and Koreans in a cafeteria. Mr PM spent several months in Britain and other young polititians too experienced sometime overseas, they know the time we distinguished people from where they are from is over already.
I like natto. I often eat natto with raw eggs and soy source combined in breakfast. And miso soup... the moment I feel happiness to be born in Japan!--Ancient Greek Philosophers -18c Enlightenment Thinkers -Slashdotters
